Undergraduate Education


UCCity’s first-year students and transfer students come from across California, the United States, and dozens of countries worldwide—united by diverse backgrounds and shared goals, embarking on a journey of challenge and discovery. We adopt a “small-class teaching + interdisciplinary training” model, allowing students to access core research resources and participate in real-world projects from day one.


Graduate Education

You Are More Than Your Transcripts


Many students wonder: Do I need a perfect GPA to get into UCCity? Or is admission guaranteed if I meet the minimum GPA requirement? The answer to both is no. UCCity uses a holistic review process, considering 13 core evaluation factors. We assess not only your academic performance in UC-transferable courses (minimum GPA of 2.40 for California residents, 2.80 for non-residents; UCCity’s minimum admission GPA is 2.80, with higher requirements for competitive programs) but also your achievements within available opportunities, personal qualities, leadership, community contributions, and potential to thrive in an academic setting.
