1. Blue and Gold Award
The Blue and Gold Award is our core commitment to the affordability and cost predictability of education for California students. California resident students with family incomes not exceeding $100,000 who meet financial aid eligibility requirements will receive sufficient funding to cover full tuition. This program effectively reduces the need for student loans, helping many students graduate "debt-free." Combined with the Tuition Stability Plan, it provides solid financial security for students and their families.
2. Diverse Aid Forms
Our financial aid program ranks among the top among peer institutions. Regardless of students’ backgrounds, they can receive support through various forms, including non-repayable grants and scholarships, low-interest student loans, and on-campus work-study positions. Diverse aid forms ensure that students with different financial situations can obtain appropriate support, reducing the pressure of tuition payments and allowing students to focus on their studies.
• Application Recommendation: Even if students believe they may not be eligible for aid, it is strongly recommended that they submit a financial aid application. Our aid programs are diverse, and some have flexible requirements regarding family income and academic performance. Submitting an application helps ensure that students receive all the aid they are entitled to.
• Aid Calculator: Students can use the "Campus Financial Aid Calculator" on the university’s official website to estimate the amount of aid they may be eligible for by entering basic information such as family income and household composition, providing a reference for academic cost planning.
