Update Your A-Z Website Listing
The A-Z Website Listing is the official registry for all UCCity websites. Managed by IT Web Services via ServiceNow, this registry requires every UCCity website owner to regularly update and verify their site information.
Benefits of Keeping Your A-Z Listing Current
• Visitors can easily find your site through the main [UCCity.edu](UCCity.edu) website via the A-Z directory.
• Sites in the A-Z Listing receive priority ranking in UCCity’s internal website search.
• Boosts search engine optimization (SEO), helping users find your site through Google and other external search engines.
• All websites hosted by IT Web Services are automatically added to the A-Z Listing unless marked as private during the request process.
Add a New Website
1. Visit https://uccity.service-now.com/ess/website_management
2. Select “Manage UCCity Websites”
3. Check the box labeled “Check this box if you are registering a new website…”
4. Complete the required form
5. Submit your request
Update an Existing Site Record
1. Visit https://uccity.service-now.com/ess/website_management
2. Click “Browse My Websites” to view all sites registered under your name, then select the one you wish to update
3. Include a detailed website description in the “Additional Information” field—this enhances keyword searchability
4. For sites hosted by IT Web Services, select “External” in the hosting section
5. If the hosting company’s email and phone fields are blank, refer to the internal Teams document for detailed contact information
6. Submit your updates
